Terry Sterling (BSMP, KPI-P)

Terry Sterling is the Training Manager as well as a Senior Consultant at the Strategy Management Group (SMG) which included the Balanced Scorecard Institute and KPI.org.

Terry has more than 20 years of extensive experience in strategy formulation and implementation utilizing the balanced scorecard methodology. He has worked closely with key executives, middle managers and first-line supervisors in both private and public entities in the development of strategic plans and performance analysis to improve organizational performance. He has developed upper level degree courses for St. Petersburg College (FL) and has also assisted in the development of many of the courses offered by the Strategy Management Group, Balanced Scorecard institute and KPI.org. Additionally, his background includes areas related to research and development, scenario planning, strategy profiles, strategic road-mapping, promotional processes, and key performance indicators. Terry is and has a master’s degree in Managerial Leadership from National-Louis University and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Olivet Nazarene University. He is certified as an Advanced Planner from IALEP (International Association of Law Enforcement Planners), a Balanced Scorecard Master Professional and Key Performance Indicator Professional and is a registered Investment Advisor Representative with a Series 65 license from the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission). He also maintains Series 6, 63 and 26 licenses with FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
